Interlude

“It requires twenty years for a man to rise from the vegetable state in which he is within his mother’s womb, and from the pure animal state which is the lot of his early childhood, to the state when the maturity of reason begins to appear. It has required thirty centuries to learn a little about his structure. It would need eternity to learn something about his soul. It takes an instant to kill him.” ― Voltaire

As WordPress screws with us all with their new “editor”, I can only hope this late night, that you might get the gist of what is offered.

  1. I was “worried” that no one had noticed that WordPress’ new “editor” which Matt Mullenberg has been trying to shove on WordPress users for some years now is finally here. The only good thing is, I can still choose a “block” that incorporates the old classic editor. So what was the point of all that ridiculous hullabaloo? Cui bono?

  2. Technophiles are the new breed of psychopaths. They have zero empathy, no awareness of human needs, only of function. Some may not seem evil at face value but their evil resides in their spiritual deadness. They will claim to invent or push some “intuitive” aspects of their technology but their concept of “intuitive” is functionally mechanistic. Human feelings or needs/desires only pass their awareness if there is the possibility of financial profit from such. We are their guinea pigs and in their eyes should be happy in our role navigating (enjoying) their tech jungle. They are the gods of pleasure and easy living and we should worship them as such regardless of our reality – the only reality that matters is the one they create.
