If I left the intro blank, and posted just a few sentences from the news articles of the day, that would be just as effective as any word salad, with a few expletives thrown in that I might write to demonstrate the continuing insanity.

Or, I could just write…’this is insane, this is insane, this is insane’ over and over again and I’d be rightfully called out as the shitposting writer I am.

Anyway, it’s Friday. I’m tired, you’re tired and even the gods are tired from looking at the clock, waiting for it to stop permanently, the curtains pulled back by whatever eternal being you believe or don’t believe in, with the tongue-in-cheek and forever-smirk finally exposed, confirming that this vaudeville shit-show lasts one’s entire life…and we’re still living.

President Joe Biden intends to run for reelection in 2024, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Friday. Biden is currently dealing with declining support from Democrat voters, while some lawmakers in the party are withholding their endorsement.

“The president intends to run in 2024 [and] we are a ways away from 2024,” Jean-Pierre told reporters. “We are going to continue to focus on doing the business of the American people, by delivering for families, by lowering costs for families, as we have been.” via rt.com

The price of food has soared to a 40-year high.

The food price index increased by 10.8 percent in 2022, the largest 12-month percentage increase since 1980, according to the Consumer Price Index report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics..

Cereal is 15 percent more expensive than it was a year ago. The price of chicken has risen by 17.4 percent, the largest increase ever recorded. The price of eggs has increased by 33 percent. Pork prices increased 13.3 percent; bacon, 15 percent; milk, 15.9 percent; coffee, 15.3 percent; and fruits and vegetables, 8.2 percent. Food away from home, at restaurants, increased by 7.4 percent.

Food banks are suddenly overwhelmed with providing relief for impoverished families as a growing number of Americans wait in long lines outside of the food relief organizations seeking respite from the exploding costs of groceries and supplies.

In Boise, Idaho, the number of meals served to families in need has doubled over the past year.

Meridian Foodbank Executive Directory Dan Clark said they went from “serving about 2,800 people each month to 4,200 in one year,” KTVB7 reports.

Another foodbank 15 -miles away, Care House Food Bank, has reported a similar increase. – via thegatewaypundit.com
