Everything is jake in your area, right? No poverty, no homelessness, roads paved smoothly…yeah? Prices for food, gasoline, electricity – all completely reasonable, yes? Medical systems working perfectly, police protection top notch and no crime whatsoever, right? Of course, it couldn’t be otherwise or we wouldn’t have government dickheads passing this bag of legislative horseshit:
House Passes $850 BILLION NDAA, Adding $37 Billion More Than Biden Requested – via antiwar.com
The House on Thursday passed its version of the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that authorizes $850.3 billion for military spending, increasing President Biden’s requested budget by $37 billion.
The massive spending bill passed in a vote of 329-101, with 62 Republicans and 39 Democrats voting nay. The Senate still has to pass its version of the NDAA, which is even bigger than the House one at $858.5 billion. Once it passes the Senate, the two chambers will then negotiate the final version.

In Israel on Thursday, President Biden reiterated that he wants to see Russia fail in Ukraine, declaring that Russian President Vladimir Putin must suffer a “strategic failure” in his war.
“Putin’s war must be a strategic failure, and the free world must sustain our resolve to help Ukraine defend its democracy,” Biden said at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid.
“The United States will continue to support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people who have been devastated and displaced by the Russian violence,” the president added.
Biden has made clear that he is ready to back Ukraine in its war for years to come. He said at the recent NATO summit in Madrid that he was willing to support Ukraine for “as long as it takes” to see Russia defeated. That support has come in the form of shipping billions of dollars worth of weapons into the war zone while not engaging in diplomacy with Moscow. – via antiwar.com
And let’s see some action, ’cause more weapons of death and destruction are needed pronto. So get your candy asses going.
WASHINGTON — The Ukrainians say they need faster shipments of long-range artillery and other sophisticated weapons to blunt Russia’s steady advance. The United States and the Europeans insist more are on the way but are wary of sending too much equipment before Ukrainian soldiers can be trained. The Pentagon is concerned about potentially depleting its stockpiles in the coming months. – via news.yahoo.com
