Probably every American has their own idea of what America was, is, or could be. Maybe it’s a shared feeling but most probably it’s something there inside each one, undefined, yet deeply felt.
For me, an aging shitposting writer, nothing quite describes America better than the music of Aaron Copland.
Traveling extensively through the Western and Mid-Western states during the early 80’s, listening to Copland while driving the highways…well, nothing quite like it. Just beautiful America!
