Seeing Through Walls

On some clear day in the not to distant future, you won’t just be able to see forever, you’ll be able to see through walls.

Researchers at MIT have come up with a way to use WiFi signals to see behind walls, and map a room in 3-D. By reflecting the signal, it can also locate the movements of people or objects in the room. The Daily Mail reports:

Using a wireless transmitter fitted behind a wall, computer scientists have developed a device that can map a nearby room in 3D while scanning for human bodies.

Using the signals that bounce and reflect off these people, the device creates an accurate silhouette and can even use this silhouette to identify who that person is.

The device is called RF Capture and it was developed by researchers at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL). by Kevin Samson, via

Oh, Bejesus, Mary and Holy St. Joseph!

Don’t university dickheads have anything better to do than come up with shyte to make life even uglier and nastier than it already is? Evidently not.

Back in my early twenties, some 40 years ago, I was sitting in a restaurant.  I took a brief look away from the woman I was sharing an adult beverage with, and nearly freaked out – for I saw another human – the poor chap –  who was the spittin’ image of me sitting at another table maybe 10 yards from where I was.

Did I really look that hideous? (Yes, I did – at least in my minds eye!)  The mannerisms of my twin made me want to vomit – for they were exactly like mine. I couldn’t believe that this guy sitting across a couple of restaurant ailses from me could be such a blatantly ugly version of myself.

The dear woman I was sharing a drink with, upon my exclamation that there was another “me” just 10 yards away, she swiveled her head and said…”you’ve been drinking too much.”

God Bless her – wherever she is now.

Maybe this is the end of us all…looking about on clear day, into another’s crib, and seeing an accurate silhouette of ourselves or neighbors, through walls, windows and what not – we shall see our complacency that has lead to a state where shysters, dickheads, f**ktards and psychopath’s rule the day, having more of an interest in whatever the f**k you and I are doing at 8 in the evening, than what our brethren, who are homeless, sick, dying and forgotten are suffering:
