Under Our Skin

“People understand me so poorly that they don’t even understand my complaint about them not understanding me.” ― Søren Kierkegaard, The Journals of Kierkegaard

If you’ve been with your significant other, for any substantial amount of time, the above quote is something you’ve probably muttered to yourself in some fashion or another, and then quickly forgotten the misunderstanding until the next time they exhibited not understanding you, which is generally the next day.

In the wonderfully weird world of relationships, misunderstanding each other is pretty much the rule rather than the exception.  Yes, there are those couples who have mind-blowing everything together, but they are rare, no matter what they might tell you.

And so, it seems rather odd, that a politician, whose blend of aromatic offerings make a pig run to the other end of the pigsty, would have even a sliver of a clue of understanding us. And even more preposterous is us watching and listening to them as if they had anything other than bat guano coming out of their mouths.

When I stumble upon Twitter every now and again, I’m amazed at the hatred being shared with strangers, expecting them to share our views and visa versa. We can’t be understood in any exceptional fashion by our mates, but expect complete strangers to come to terms with our way of thinking, to understand us, to adore us.

Politicians, or as the heavens look down upon them, ant shyte, are the most devious, the bullies from high school, the slimiest of snakes ever to slither out from quick sand, the peat bog mummies who are dead souls, yet so many of us look to them as our mommies and daddies, here to make everything right in our world, for they understand us.

They understand how to swindle and we go along with the swindle. They and their media presstitutes spew their vile discord all about, getting the masses riled about horseshit, while the real damage they do, both abroad and here at home is left completely unchecked.

Instead of listening to these monsters, it would seem better to do the unthinkable in this day and age…talk to your neighbors, your friends, your family – face to face. Get to know them, listen to them. Find common ground to fight the tyranny.

These dickheads delight in us believing their jive. Left, right and everything in between – it’s just theatre to keep us distracted from one new law after another, one proposal followed by another… another lawless decree of the ways we must obey.

We have been educated from day one to obey, consume and repeat whatever nonsense we’re fed –  tis no wonder we find ourselves where we are today.

“The aim of public education is not to spread enlightenment at all; it is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to put down dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States, whatever the pretensions of politicians, pedagogues and other such mountebanks, and that is its aim everywhere else.” – H.L. Mencken

There is no modern, magic techno goo that will come to save us – rather it comes to enslave us completely, fully and with finality into these f**ktards dreams of control and complete domination.

If we don’t start understanding, and very quickly, that these demons are nothing other than another representative of the slime of ages past, present and future – we will be under their stench of insanity for the rest of our days.

And the insanity these degenerates have in store for us all…will make past f**kery from previous demonic generations seem as innocent as eating cotton candy on a summer afternoon.

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, and intolerable.” – H.L. Mencken

  1. Spot on brilliant! You stated in this one post, what I have unsuccessfully tried to state in one-hundred.

I was a public school teacher for a short period of time. And I witnessed the dumbing down, the regimentation, the enforced mass conformity. And it has worked better than these inbred assholes could have ever expected. We have had generation after generation of ‘adult’ men and woman who cannot function without their police-nanny state, their political mommies and daddies: “Trump says, Obama says, Bush says, Clinton says (pick one), so it must be true! Daddy wouldn’t lie to us!” Mindless sheep to the slaughterhouse.

And this is why I, quite often, wonder: Why bother trying to change what cannot be changed? But I’m old and fed up, and I cannot stop myself from screaming on a blog, What an ass I am!;-)

    1. Now that is some brilliant stuff, there Sojourner! Thank you! And you got me laughing with what you wrote about being old and fed up, and cannot stop yourself from screaming on a blog. I’m right with you! I just hope you keep screaming! Cheers!

  2. another well done Decker!! Awesome. it is so obvious to those will simply open their eyes. Excellent quotes from Mencken.

I have chosen to live my rather rather then it lived for me through politicians and their machinations. Those people are the true parasites of the universe. They consume our time, our labor, our very lives and our souls would be theirs as well if people give it to them. Learn to say NO!
