The Joys of Over-Indulging – A Barrel Full of Ignorance

Now that “the 4th” is nearly over here in the richest country in the world, with many an American over-eating, over-indulging on whatever vice of choice, blowing off fireworks to scare the be-jesus out of our beloved animals, proving that they can light a match to blow shyte up, over “festivalizing”, where nearly every assault upon the human eye is on full display – from extended bellies, rolls of flesh exposed here, there and everywhere, slabs o’ feet and more ugliness unashamedly exhibited, and no longer a care as to the clothes donned that might blessedly keep the innocent from seeing that which cannot be unseen – they walk out of their cribs to over-indulge, eyes transfixed on their hand-held radiation devices, waiting to queue up for tastelessness and yet another opportunity to kill off a few more hours of their lives being brain dead – these are our “brethren”.

Ah, but what of all this.  What harm comes from being mired in a barrel full of ignorance?

After all, we have the guy with orange hair leading the parade, diverting just a scant $2.5 million away from national parks, in order to have a 4th of July parade that isn’t about liberty or the Declaration of Independence, but about showing off the death-toys produced by the boys at Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and the military industrial complex life-ending machine.  Yes, this is the over-indulgence that the founding fathers would have loved.

“…more than 200 years ago, (when) American colonists suffered under Great Britain’s version of an early police state. It was only when the colonists finally got fed up with being silenced, censored, searched, frisked, threatened, and arrested that they finally revolted against the tyrant’s fetters.

No document better states their grievances than the Declaration of Independence, drafted by Thomas Jefferson.

A document seething with outrage over a government which had betrayed its citizens, the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776, by 56 men who laid everything on the line, pledged it all—“our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor”—because they believed in a radical idea: that all people are created to be free.” – John W. Whitehead, via globalresearch.ca

Now, Americans’ outrage is saved for identity politics, getting boned (or not) over mostly imbeciles on a stage of stooges, spouting sloganeering phrases about what they will do if elected president, and more often than not, all of which is nothing more than pure f**kery.

Americans are “allowed” to over-indulge on vaccines, bath their immune systems with GMO foods, glory in being uninsured or if insured, blissfully satisfied that their medical deductible might require taking a second mortgage or maxing out credit cards to be treated by white lab coats with their chemical goo, happily ignorant that their government ignores them, its poor, its homeless – all with the blessings from the corporate media whores.

Obey, consume…repeat.

Yet who among us gives a shyte that our government wastes billions killing innocents, both abroad and at home with their apathy and their billions in pretend money, spread out to absolute demons to continue the slaughter.

Sometimes, we are left to wonder where and when did all this f**kery settle into the consciousness of the souls in Americans, where they actually could give a shyte about their fellow Americans.

That’s an easy one…and we all know it well, in a sickening sense – that being when we each, individually, tuned out and said to ourselves…who gives a shyte.

And look at what our apathy has wrought.

We collectively wonder, maybe only when we’re at home, alone, before we retire each night, turning off our hand-held radiation devices just long enough to allow a sliver of the dawn of thought to occur – what in the f**k has happened to us, what has happened to this country?

We then might look into the mirror and ask, why did you go along with the insanity that your gut told you was BS, that your mind quietly rebelled against, and what your soul told you was insane…never uttering a word of protest, never standing against the hellions, never standing for the innocents,  never telling the shysters among us, no more…go f**k yourselves.

  1. you pegged it perfectly! A better description of the average American I have never seen! Brilliant and it made me laugh and cry at the same time. It is TRUTH…Wish I could write half as good as you do! Sadly, most people with phones can no longer read so it is doubtful anything in written form will reach them. Yours is couched in humor so it does have a chance. A movie called ”Idiocracy” pegged the future at the current rate. I see it is already here…Well written and well done. thank you for that particular post. I read them all but that one was one of the finest!

And somehow, I have missed following your wonderful blog…I attribute it to old age or something like that. 😉 Nevertheless, I’m reading through your offerings and all are top notch, extremely well-written, informative and with perfect complimentary videos. Thank you for always stopping by…very much appreciated. So very happy to have found your blog. Cheers!
