Drinking Deeply

When you’re a 72 year old man, with strands of hair that is orange, who happens to be the president of the US, tweeting out one inanity after another – you lose track of the meanderings in your brain, and shoot yourself in the foot, in your arse, your hand, or other body parts that your uncontrolled mouth or thumbs can’t discern as being a part of you:

Trump commits to record $750 billion defense budget days after saying $716 billion was too much – reports – via RT.com

Washington is currently spending as much as the next 7 countries combined on defense, and included in that list is the evil Russian empire, who doesn’t have artillery, military bases, bombs, aircraft and other life-ending contraptions on the borders of America, as Washington has, with it’s NATO operatives, along Russia’s borders.

Little wonder that the military industrial complex needs billions upon billions to keep the palms of Manhattan CEO types of Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and other jackal companies sufficiently greased.

But the great bogey-man of terrorism is always at our doorstep. How do we know this? Because these assholes keep telling us – and we believe them – so screw the citizens’ everyday needs, screw the health of said citizens, screw its poor and homeless – Washington has an agenda to protect us from dastardly terrorists that only Washington can invent.

Perhaps all this is just too much for the average American to come to grips with.  After all, they’re programmed into maintaining their debt slave status by buying shit they can’t afford to keep their minds occupied and away from the reality that they are being reamed in the arse with each and every day by our loving government.

The working man, woman, child, and other are mangled by a US economy that is, in reality, a monopoly – crushing the working American citizen.

In a survey of 195 countries, it was found that in Russia, the average citizen spends $10 a month on superfast broadband, while here in the US, it’s $70 a month for slower speeds. And we’re the home of telecommunications fat-cats who invent their shyte and then charge us premium rates to participate in their f**kery.

Our infrastructure here in the US is disintegrating.  Our healthcare system is sorely lacking; our agriculture community relies on pesticides that damage our children’s brains, and most insouciant American idiot’s don’t think twice of what their government does to them each and every day. Of course, how can they – they’ve accepted their slavery, accepted the back seat on the bus – never questioning or even having the desire to know of anything beyond the Jack Daniels, beer, sports, tweets, texts, inane trivia, stupidity, silliness and BS, dispensed by a corporate media without a soul, that the average citizen, sadly, have come to accept as the everyday.

But not to worry – just faze out and tune in to the soul-destroying government and corporate media of our time. Buy into their BS. Drink deeply of their insanity – it will provide the modern day balm that all is right with the world, as you, your loved ones, your family and all who are dear to you – pop another pill that the shyster’s, wearing their white lab coat prescribes for you – to forget and never be interested in a world outside their depravity.  A world that each of us knows of, deep inside our souls – a world of love, acceptance, of standing for no less than the truth – and an absence of the absolute BS the modern era, the government and media whores export to us all, each and every day.

Accepting their BS keeps us from our home – our home of discovering each day, that we are so much more than willing slaves, drinking deeply of the insanity offered us.

“In my experience, everyone will say they want to discover the Truth, right up until they realize that the Truth will rob them of their deepest held ideas, beliefs, hopes, and dreams. The freedom of enlightenment means much more than the experience of love and peace. It means discovering a Truth that will turn your view of self and life upside-down. For one who is truly ready, this will be unimaginably liberating. But for one who is still clinging in any way, this will be extremely challenging indeed. How does one know if they are ready? One is ready when they are willing to be absolutely consumed, when they are willing to be fuel for a fire without end.” – Adyashanti
