Like the school yard bully who won’t quit with his antics until someone stands up to him and pops him in the mouth, Washington is hellbent on continuing to bully and piss off about any country that refuses to succumb to its charming ways of demanding they jump and ask how high.
Washington is one hellhole of insanity, representing, sadly, most Americans it seems, if one listens to any right-wing, left-wing, chicken-wing or mainstream media broadcasts that continue to push war with whatever country is in the crosshairs of Washington, with hardly any push-back.
Increasing US Hostility Brings Turkey, Russia and Iran Together for Syria Summit – via anti-media.org
The leadership of Turkey, Iran, and Russia have all agreed to attend an upcoming summit in Istanbul on the topic of Syria, with the date for the meeting to be decided soon. Looming large over this is US relations.
Those three nations have met in the past on trying to get a peace process going in Syria, but right now the big issue on all their minds is increasing hostility from the US.
Turkey’s invasion of northern Syrian Kurdish territory has them facing potential conflict with US troops embedded in Manbij. The Pentagon has made clear their presence in Syria is at least in part intended now to fight Iran, and over the past week, US forces killed scores of Russians in the east.
These three nations weren’t seemingly all seeing eye-to-eye on Syria, but the acrimony with the US risks being a major unifier for them, with countering the US agenda in Syria likely a top priority for all.
We’ve already seen some shifts in this direction, with reports claiming Russia has endorsed Turkey’s invasion of Afrin, and Russia seen pushing Israel to stop attacks in southern Syria aimed at Iran.
Ah – but who cares, right? We have demonic idiots running the show in Washington, salivating over the next war, and most Americans give it all a big yawn.
Life is becoming one continual “f*** me” after another. Like trying to appease the social justice warrior whose ever-changing whims of what they might want/need/demand from one day to the next is like predicting which way the wind will be blowing next Tuesday, at 9:07 a.m.; or asking people to look up from their “smartphones” (which, over time, radiates their brains to fried rice) long enough to realize that the food they eat, the air they breath, the water they drink is one contaminated mess of government approved chemicals that should be greeted with more than a shrug of the shoulders; or giving a shyte that Washington’s blood thirst didn’t just spring up in the last 20 years or so – so few seem to give a damn.
Instead, Americans are pounded with daily guano the likes of whether God has told or not told Oprah to run for president. You’ve got to be f***ing kidding me!
But that’s what the mainstream media presents as “news” and what we should be concerned about – not government horseshit like the following:
2019 Military Budget: Pentagon Wins, American Taxpayers Lose – via antiwar.com
President Trump has delivered his military budget request for 2019 that increases spending by 12 percent over 2017 spending. Designed to fully fund a “depleted” military, even Defense Secretary Mattis was surprised at the figures. Many more warships, many more F-22s (even though they don’t work). Half a billion more dollars to continue the US “regime change” operation in Syria. There’s something in it for everybody…except the American people. How this massive spending increase makes us less safe and less free in today’s Ron Paul Liberty Report:
What a minute…who cares, anyway? Didn’t the USA just win another gold medal in some frigid-ass winter sport? Ah – too bad one of the most recent winners of “gold” in the Winter Olympics appears to be a sexual harasser.
It’s time to understand that because empty souls look good in a suit, or on a snowboard, or standing next to Harvey Weinstein doesn’t equate to any sort of extra intelligence, wit, wisdom, or dawn of thought. They’re assholes.
The Pentagon on Monday asked for a budget of $686 billion to be allocated to military spending in 2019. The requested amount is one of the largest in US history, and is also focused on beefing up the country’s nuclear arsenal. The budget sees an increase of $80 billion from 2017.
On top of the $686 billion budget request was an additional $30 billion for agencies including the Department of Energy, which maintains American nuclear weapons.
Under-Secretary of Defense David L. Norquist told reporters on Monday that the budget aims to neutralize threats posed by China and Russia which “want to shape a world consistent with their own authoritarian intentions.” – via Russia-insider.com
That’s right… Mr. Under-Secretary – throw out some fictional, menacing bird-droppings so Americans can go back to sleep with their smartphones snuggly held close to their ever-shrinking hearts and minds and let a-holes do their part to bring the world to war.
“Why throw money at defense when everything is falling down around us? Do we need to spend more money on our military (about $600 billion this year) than the next seven countries combined? Do we need 1.4 million active military personnel and 850,000 reserves when the enemy at the moment — ISIS — numbers in the low tens of thousands? If so, it seems there’s something radically wrong with our strategy. Should 55% of the federal government’s discretionary spending go to the military and only 3% to transportation when the toll in American lives is far greater from failing infrastructure than from terrorism? Does California need nearly as many active military bases (31, according to militarybases.com) as it has UC and state university campuses (33)? And does the state need more active duty military personnel (168,000, according to Governing magazine) than public elementary school teachers (139,000)?”— Steve Lopez, Los Angeles Times
Something to remember when you hear the next USA, USA, USA chant – these Washington shit-heads won’t be sending their sons, daughters, nieces or nephews to kill off “other-colored skin” people and possibly die in the process. It’s your sons, daughters, nieces and nephews who will be sent to die for their demonic dreams.
“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people… This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.” President Dwight D. Eisenhower – April 16, 1953
Tonight’s musical offering:
“Music is the one incorporeal entrance into the higher world of knowledge which comprehends mankind but which mankind cannot comprehend.” – Ludwig van Beethoven
“Prince, what you are, you are by accident of birth; what I am, I am of myself. There are and there will be thousands of princes. There is only one Beethoven.”- Ludwig van Beethoven
As there was only one Beethoven – there is also one YOU and together we can make a difference to protect innocent lives, no matter where they may live.
(As is our custom here at the Asylum with all unbelievably mind-boggling and powerful performances, head phones on and volume cranked – see if YOU might be inspired to give the “powers who shouldn’t be” a good kick in the ass! – and if you can’t listen to the entire 4th movement – at least give it shot from the 6:32 mark on for the final three minutes)
