Familiar playground banter from the 60’s one could always hear one kid shouting to another…. “Oh yeah, well, my — is bigger than your —.” Fill in the blanks with whatever your imagination might care to. But it was usually innocent enough, being something like…my Dad is bigger than your Dad. Ah, such innocence of days long since past.
Fast forward 60 years or so and you have deranged nutjobs with their hands on buttons that can signal a military tough guy to launch a few missiles to end thousands of innocents’ lives or simply press a button or two and lay waste much of the planet. Little demented boys shouting at one another about their bigger toys.
Trump tells North Korea, my nukes are “much bigger and more powerful” – via theduran.com
“North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!” – Donald J. Trump
Ah – such cute, infantile, and deranged banter…from the POTUS – what a leader! Always such a slap on the knee to joke (or maybe not) about ending lives from this nutjob.
But it doesn’t take bigger and more powerful buttons to end life on the planet than Trump has at his disposal – doesn’t even take bigger hands, as the POTUS likes to brag about having – just takes an incredible amount of dumbshittery.
It reminds us of one of the funniest scenes from the movie “Spaceballs” – comparing “Schwartz’s” (boys with their toys):
“Spaceballs” Schwartz scene
The scene was funny – Trump isn’t.
Tweet away about ending $225 million in aid to Palestine or send out your completely vapid UN Ambassador, Nikki Haley, to “explain” it – of course, it’s conveniently omitted that we send Israel $3.1 Billion each year also. (If you’re the inquisitive type and would like to see the aid by country that the US doles out each year…you can start here.) Or even at home, we fund NASA to the tune of $19.1 Billion for FY 2018 – for what?
As one of the last lines in the “Spaceballs” clip above states:
“So, Lonestar, now you see that evil will always triumph…because “good” is dumb!”
How else to explain how Washington continues to get away with their insanity?
