The Silver Lining – Collodial Silver

The chances of finding out what’s really going on in the universe are so remote, the only thing to do is hang the sense of it and keep yourself occupied. – Douglas Adams

But every once in  a while…if you keep digging, you get lucky!

There is no sense pretending anymore that life on this plane, planet, spinning ball, yo-yo or really big stage for the god’s entertainment is anything but completely bizarre.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, and maybe it’s just Americans, but people for the most part, have no interest in anything outside their sphere of casual disruptions to the silliness occupying their minds at any particular moment on any given day.

From theGuardian comes the ominous warning of a post-antibiotic apocalypse, from England’s chief medical officer, Prof Dame Sally Davies.

She said:

“if antibiotics lose their effectiveness it would spell “the end of modern medicine”. Without the drugs used to fight infections, common medical interventions such as caesarean sections, cancer treatments and hip replacements would become incredibly risky and transplant medicine would be a thing of the past, she said.

“We really are facing – if we don’t take action now – a dreadful post-antibiotic apocalypse. I don’t want to say to my children that I didn’t do my best to protect them and their children,” Davies said.

That we face a “dreadful post-antibiotic apocalypse” is maybe a bit much of the sky is falling mentality. But what else is new with modern day “reporting”.  How did the human race manage to survive to this point without chemical antibiotics?

Maybe more curious is why people don’t challenge the status quo and quit swallowing the mainstream consciousness of nuttiness.

john-mccann-323570-2.jpgOne natural antibiotic provided by mother nature that has been around about as long as the grand comedy began is collodial silver. Few would have a clue of what this is.  And why would they…it hasn’t been featured, reported or talked about by any guy or gal in a white lab coat, who’s either pretending or really trying to be a doctor.

What is it?

Colloidal silver appears to be a powerful, natural antibiotic and preventative against infections. Acting as a catalyst, it reportedly disables the enzyme that one-celled bacteria, viruses and fungi need for their oxygen metabolism. They suffocate without corresponding harm occurring to human enzymes or parts of the human body chemistry. The result is the destruction of disease-causing organisms in the body and in the food. – via all-natural.com

The above insert from the article – Collodial Silver – Super Antibiotic Rediscovery is one of the best overall informational articles on the outstanding, everyday benefits of another of mother nature’s miracles.

Colloidal silver has been reported to kill 650 micro-organisms, many of which are associated with human diseases – and it can be applied directly to cuts, scrapes, and open sores, or on a bandage for warts. It can be applied on eczema, itches, acne or bug bites. To purify water, add one tablespoon per gallon, shake well and wait six minutes. Mixed this way, it’s tasteless.

We here at the Asylum have used it for burns (it’s miraculous); cuts, insect bites, dog mishaps, pimples, scrapes…and yes, have ingested it to fight off the flu, colds, and God only knows what else that the human condition is bombarded with that can’t be smelled, seen or tasted. We encourage you to read the article…it is eye-opening, and different from what “modern medicine” offers in that it is…useful. This is the brand we use and it can be found at Whole Foods, or any healthier grocer outlet.
