As the Dumpster continues to do all he can to ensure that anything he touches is completely fucked up beyond all repair, the creep is also having ‘big glow’ dreams:
A clearly frustrated President Donald Trump appeared to threaten to use nuclear weapons against Iran, which is ironic considering he made such a big deal about the fear of nuclear holocaust in the Ukraine war conflict when he was a 2024 candidate.
But now the tables are turned. The U.S. has failed to force Iran’s capitulation and is locked in a game of competing blockades in the Hormuz Strait. Trump’s comments yesterday came after the U.S. bombed targets on two Iranian islands following attacked Iranians launched against two American war ships. Something that should never have happened if its military was “completely destroyed” as described by Trump officials over the last month.
“They trifled with us with today. We blew them away,” he told reporters at the Lincoln Memorial basin. On whether the ceasefire is off, he said no. If it was off, you’d know it, he added. “If there’s no ceasefire you’re just going to have to look at one big glow coming out of Iran.”

The reference to “one big glow” touched off a firestorm on social media overnight. Oil prices were holding at $100 a barrel at 6 a.m. as it becomes clear that not only is the “deal” with Iran still out of reach, the war is slowly ramping back up and the president is increasingly cavalier with statements that sound like he is threatening to use U.S. nuclear weapons against the Islamic Republic. Israel, too of course has nuclear weapons, which is doubly ironic since the war today supposedly is to prevent Iran from getting … a nuclear weapon. – responsiblestatecraft.org
And a purely coincidental thing also happened – a photo-op of one of the U.S. nuclear-armed submarines. The U.S., apparently, loves to show off equipment that will end all life.
US Nuclear-Armed Submarine Arrives in Gibraltar in Rare Public Display – antiwar.com
A US nuclear-armed submarine arrived in Gibraltar on Sunday in a rare public acknowledgment of the location of one of the covert watercraft, a move seen as a veiled threat against Iran.
“A US Navy ballistic missile submarine arrived in Gibraltar, May 10, 2026. The port visit demonstrates US capability, flexibility, and continuing commitment to its NATO allies,” the US Navy’s Sixth Fleet said in a statement released the same day that President Trump rejected Iran’s latest response to a US proposal for a deal.
“Ohio-class ballistic missile submarines are undetectable launch platforms for submarine-launched ballistic missiles, providing the US with its most survivable leg of the nuclear triad,” the statement added.

Each Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine is armed with nuclear-armed Trident II D5 Submarine Launched Ballistic Missiles, which have a range of at least 4,500 miles. The last time the US publicly docked one of the submarines overseas was in 2023, when President Biden sent a nuclear-armed submarine to South Korea for the first time in decades, and simultaneously deployed one to Scotland.
The US docking a ballistic missile submarine in Gibraltar, a British overseas territory on the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula that’s also claimed by Spain, could also be meant as a snub against Spain, which has opposed the US-Israeli war against Iran and didn’t allow its bases to be used for the conflict.
According to The Olive Press, the US docked nuclear-powered submarines in Gibraltar in 2021 and 2022, and the Spanish government protested that the submarines were sent to the British territory rather than to the nearby naval base in Rota, Spain.
