Rubio says US strategy is moving from ‘Epic’ to ‘Economic Fury’

By Kimberley Halkett – aljazeera.com

The US president made his secretary of state his spokesman, giving a bit more clarity in terms of what the United States is doing in the Strait of Hormuz.

What we heard is that Operation Epic Fury is now Operation Economic Fury and the United States has shifted towards the programme the US president announced on Sunday… Project Freedom. Now we understand a little bit more what it entails. The secretary of state says the US is essentially creating a bubble to allow commercial ships to transit the strait, protected by naval and air assets.

Rubio said the United States is trying to restore the freedom of navigation, as he called it, and that if Iran strikes any US assets or one of the commercial ships transiting the strait, the US would react, and reserves the right to use deadly force.

He accused Iran of causing economic arson. As a result, the US says that it is helping those nations [that rely on the Strait of Hormuz], but at a certain point, they will have to take over.

In terms of the diplomatic track, the secretary of state also addressed that, saying that Middle East envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are still working, but for now, what Iran needs to do is make concessions for there to be productive talks.

Hmmm, creating a bubble, eh?  Sure, okay.  Hard to believe that none of this would be going on if the peace president hadn’t started his war of choice in the first place.  But maybe this bubble shit will work, just like dolphins undertaking suicide missions.

May be an image of ‎orca and ‎text that says '‎(ل) BREAKING NEWS FOX NEWS IS TELLING AMERICANS IRAN IS S STRAPPING SUICIDE BOMBS to DOLPHINS. DO YOU BELIEVE THIS PROPAGANDA?‎'‎‎

I heard this a day ago and my initial thought was that I just hadn’t taken my old people’s medicine for the day and hallucinations were setting in.  Evidently not.

Iran considers deploying ‘KAMIKAZE DOLPHINS’: Report – via foxnews.com

Iran is reportedly considering deploying mine-carrying dolphins to target U.S. warships in the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Iran purchased specially trained dolphins from Russia in 2000, and has considered using them in the past, according to the BBC.

I don’t wish to alarm you, but Fox News says Iran has “kamikaze dolphins” strapped with explosive vests
