Bach – Brandenburg Concerto no. 2 in F major BWV 1047 – Sato | Netherlands Bach Society
Like the set of ‘Brandenburg’ concertos as a whole, this ‘Brandenburg’ Concerto no. 2 in F major, performed by the Netherlands Bach Society for All of Bach, is also a piece for several instruments: a quartet of trumpet, oboe, recorder and violin is accompanied by a string ensemble. The notes on paper would suggest that all four soloists are equal. And of course it all revolves around playing together and a measured balance.
