Experts agree, on a clear day, you can see fuckery a mile away. On a cloudy day, it can still be seen and its stench is just as potent as on a clear day. So, no matter the day, look yonder or breathe in deeply through the nostrils, the menace of living in this vaudeville cannot be mistaken.
Behold! Idiocy afoot!
Biden Extends Covid Public Health Emergency After Declaring Pandemic ‘Over’ – via washingtontimes.com
The Biden administration on Thursday extended the COVID-19 public health emergency through Jan. 11 despite the president’s declaration last month that the pandemic was “over.”
The extension to the public health emergency, which was first declared in January 2020, accompanies officials’ warnings of a potential surge in infections over the winter.
Potential, could be, might happen, unforseen – common words in these nitwits’ bag of psychofuckery.
But President Biden had declared that the pandemic had ended in an interview with CBS’ “60 Minutes” last month when asked point blank by reporter Scott Pelley: “is the pandemic over?”
“The pandemic is over,” Mr. Biden replied. “We still have a problem with COVID. We’re still doing a lotta work on it. It’s — but the pandemic is over.”
The statement followed a shift in Washington toward treating the virus as a manageable threat rather than a crisis, as deaths and hospitalizations have declined steadily.
His response had been at odds with Dr. Jha’s statement at a White House press briefing less than a fortnight earlier.
“The pandemic isn’t over,” Dr. Jha said on Sept. 6. “We will remain vigilant, and of course, we continue to look for and prepare for unforeseen twists and turns.”
If only Bugs was around to deal with these halfwits…
But thank the gods these morons have extended the ’emergency’. Cast your gaze upon the strength, power and destruction of the mighty cornolio, and all its’ relatives:
Covid-19 Much Less Deadly Than Previously Thought, Major Study Finds – via dailysceptic.org
COVID-19 is much less deadly in the non-elderly population than previously thought, a major new study of antibody prevalence surveys has concluded.
The study was led by Dr. John Ioannidis, Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at Stanford University, who famously sounded an early warning on March 17th 2020 with a widely-read article in Stat News, presciently arguing that “we are making decisions without reliable data” and “with lockdowns of months, if not years, life largely stops, short-term and long-term consequences are entirely unknown, and billions, not just millions, of lives may be eventually at stake”.
In the new study, which is currently undergoing peer-review, Prof. Ioannidis and colleagues found that across 31 national seroprevalence studies in the pre-vaccination era, the average (median) infection fatality rate of COVID-19 was estimated to be just 0.035% for people aged 0-59 years and 0.095% for those aged 0-69 years. A further breakdown by age group found that the average IFR was 0.0003% at 0-19 years, 0.003% at 20-29 years, 0.011% at 30-39 years, 0.035% at 40-49 years, 0.129% at 50-59 years, and 0.501% at 60-69 years. Whew! Good these jackasses didn’t overreact with lockdowns, closings and pokes of poison sludge for everyone…right?
