25 or 6 to…Wherever

Whatever celestial ring of shyte we find ourselves clinging to doesn’t matter.

We have been played, over and over again.

We dig onto a smorgasbord of insanity of the modern era, and won’t see another way.

We’re clued into the hive… a hive that consists of nothing more than continuing to buy into an outhouse of shittery concocted by government and corporate a-holes, purporting to be the saviors of us all.

Easy to see the fuckery of it all…but most cast their gaze toward the easiest. That, believing in whatever horseshit the corporate media offers each day.

Before the end of this grand scheme, the heavens look for those who stand and say…”f**k off”, we don’t and won’t hold to your ugliness, to your depravity, to your insanity,

Tonight’s musical offering

In just three short years, Leonid & Friends has blown the minds of legions of fans with their uncanny ability to capture the spirit, musicality and fire of American supergroup Chicago.

And what is even more stunning is that Leonid & Friends hasn’t seen Chicago perform live, yet replicates the band’s complex arrangements amazingly note for note.

“Chicago has never been in Russia and none of us have attended their concerts,” said Leonid Vorobyev, a multi-instrumentalist who is the band’s leader. “We have only audio records and videos (to help us learn Chicago songs).”

  1. Great story about Leonid & Friends—I’m now a big fan, thanks to you and them, and I never considered myself a Chicago fan before at all. I really do think there’s something ‘extra’ that can happen when talented artists cross cultures, or just time and space—it’s like in their effort to ‘translate’ that art they are able to emphasize a certain quality so that we can hear/see it for the first time.

    1. Great comment! Like you, I was never a big Chicago fan, but Leonid & Friends, that “extra” they bring just makes it so damn good! I just stumbled upon them one day, and so happy I found them and happy you enjoy them too!
