You know how it goes…you’re the corporate media in the richest country in the world, CNN in this case, and it’s time to take a break from your usual hard-hitting, cutting-edge pieces…ones that dig and dig and dig for the truth – well, at the least truth as they see it, which most days equates to bashing the guy with orange hair, particularly when he has the audacity of pulling our troops out of Syria and Afghanistan – or, if not “reporting” on all that rot, attempts to find a Russian on every street corner, in every nook and cranny, casting their evil spell on those using whatever social media platform that Americans share photos and fairy tales of how their life really isn’t – with meme’s telling them how to vote.
But even CNN needs to take a break from their heavy-duty lifting of the truth, providing its viewers with enticing mental cravings to ponder.
Check out this latest ice cream sandwich from CNN on the new (yet old) and nicely deranged Speaker of the House, reporting on her favorite ice cream shop…

But who can blame her for a little get-away. She has hard-hitting issues to deal with, like Medicare for all? Not really. Ending the endless wars that Washington heaps upon sovereign nations? Get real. She had real shyte to tend to ensuring her “pay-go” provision will be in place to keep any real legislation from taking place. And if you want a nifty bit of what “pay-go” is all about, Jimmy Dore provides one here.
We’d have to take a closer look, but we’re pretty sure that CNN didn’t take a stroll with ‘the Donald’ after being elected, to check out which of the buildings he owns were his favorites. But now that one of CNN’s favorites is Speaker of the House – time to take a break from war-loving newscasts and get into the real shyte – the Speaker of the House and her favorite ice cream shop.
The grand circus continues – with insouciant Americans happily ignoring the multi-layered elephants in the room…
Senate Report on ‘Russian Interference’ was written by disinformation warriors who ran fake ‘Russian Bots’ – via grayzoneproject.com. As Spock would say…fascinating!
Reporter Quits NBC Citing Network’s Support For Endless War – via caitlinjohnstone.com – doubtful you’ll hear of this from NBC.
…and just a taste of the on-going insanity the deranged psychotic’s of the day heap upon humankind
Pro-vaccine medical journal admits there is conclusive scientific evidence that vaccines can and do kill some children – via naturalnews.com. Of course, why would the corporate media report on such a thing. And even if they did, how many Americans would care? Heck, few probably know that according to a recent study by Johns Hopkins, more than 250,000 people in the United States die every year because of medical mistakes, making it the third leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer, or even more delightful to know is that even taking properly prescribed medications can lead to hospitalization and that nasty end-all – death. And is there a special prosecutor to look into this horseshit? Of course not.
We here at the Asylum profess to not having a clue of why we humans were cast about this planet with non-humans posing as psychopath’s.
Using the common sense that we mostly ignore these days leads one to doubt that the mission of our lives is to listen and then follow the “ruling” morons of whatever era one finds themselves locked into… bewitching ourselves into believing that their jive is something more than the waste of what is flushed down the toilet each day. But being bewitched and bothered by others, by love, by life itself has been with us from the beginning it seems.
As the American novelist, Walker Percy, told an interviewer back in 1971, “the thing that fascinates me is the fact that men can be well-off, judging by their own criteria, with all their needs satisfied, goals achieved, et cetera, yet as time goes on, life is almost unbearable. Amazing!”
And making life unbearable is something the psychopathic lizards of each era feast upon.
