Even the Mightiest of Walls of Oppression Can Crumble

There are plans and then there are PLANS.

Just like many make plans for some type of total inebriation with the weekend here, trying to forget bosses, jobs, family members, and other sometimes assorted jackasses (unless you’re in poverty in which case, there is no break from the hardness of life here in the richest country in the world) the true jackasses never rest with their plans for continued insanity:

Just a few days after the former NYC mayor and latest member of President Trump’s unexpectedly let it slip that “we got a president who is tough, who does not listen to the people who are naysayers, and a president who is committed to regime change [in Iran]”, the Washington Free Beacon has obtained a three-page white paper being circulated among National Security Council officials with drafted plans to spark regime change in Iran, following the US exit from the Obama-era nuclear deal and the re-imposition of tough sanctions aimed at toppling the Iranian regime. via antimedia.com

So, basically, the Trump’s administration’s position on nearly everything is to destroy all that is currently in place and put his stinking imprimatur on his version of hell on earth for everyone else.

Isn’t it nice he’s making America great again?

Thank God there’s just a bit of resistance from Europe on the Trump’s plans for lunacy for the world:

“We are determined to keep this deal (JCPOA) in place,” declared Federica Mogherini, an Italian politician who serves as High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Although Mogherini did not name Trump in her State of the Union address, she certainly appeared to be referencing the president when she said, “It seems that screaming, shouting, insulting and bullying, systematically destroying and dismantling everything that is already in place, is the mood of our times.”

Emphasizing that world leaders must “move on from the ‘I win, you lose’ approach,” because “no country is big enough to face this world alone,” Mogherini warned that “this impulse to destroy is not leading us anywhere good.” via commondreams.org

Maybe Europe is coming to its senses and has had enough of Washington’s bullying, of its love missiles that rain down on sovereign nations, of its regime change activities that have laid Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan to waste, with continued uninvited interference in Syria and is simply sick of Washington’s continued war crimes. Maybe.

But not to worry…the sickness of Trump and Washington isn’t just enjoyed by the international community, we here in America get to inhale deeply of the guano arising from one campaign promise after the next being broken as the guy with orange hair makes America great again.

ryan-whitlow-535703-unsplashOfficially ditching his campaign promise to challenge the pharmaceutical industry head-on and allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices—a betrayal that may have something to do with the fact that the White House is currently occupied by former Big Pharma executives in key posts—President Donald Trump on Friday formally unveiled a plan ostensibly aimed at cutting medicine costs that analysts and progressive critics are already slamming as wholly inadequate and “pharma-friendly.”

Taking heat off the greedy pharmaceutical companies he once accused of “getting away with murder,” Trump’s plan shifts much of the blame for soaring drug prices in America on foreign governments that “use socialized healthcare to command unfairly low prices from U.S. drugmakers,” according to a summary of Trump’s proposals obtained by the New York Times. via commondreams.org

“The Trump White House is swamped with Big Pharma influence,” said Rick Claypool, a Public Citizen research director. “Considering the industry’s power to shape Trump’s policies, patients should anticipate the president’s speech today with more than a little skepticism.”

“Big Pharma is investing more in the political process than it ever has, to protect its monopoly power and preserve its power to price gouge and rip off the American people,” said Robert Weissman, president of Public Citizen. “Solutions to Big Pharma’s monopoly abuses are at hand, but they require a political will that we are unlikely to see from an administration in the grip of the drug corporations.” via citizen.org

So, no matter whether you live in any of the far corners of the earth, the oppression from Washington will come and shove its fist down your throat in one fashion or another.

Maybe Americans will come to their senses and understand that a very grave error in judgement happened when Americans were seduced with M&M’s falling from the skies in the form of campaign promises made by this shyster, only to come to understand what’s falling from the skies from Washington is nothing more than the bird shit its been for too many years.

About all that is left for Americans (and the rest of the world) is to understand and come to grips with, is what Bobby Kennedy said many, many years ago…

“Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.” ~ Robert Kennedy
