When sanity is in short supply, one searches, sometimes frantically looking for reasonableness, common sense, or God forbid…just the frickin’ truth.
But how can one possibly find the truth given the hysteria over everything but the truth in the modern era.
Trump’s relationship with an adult film star…Good Lord, why the prurient interest with a political, Hollywood, or media jockstrap. The man is jive-ass, just as most of the president’s before him. They lie, cheat, they use others – they authorize the deaths of thousands of innocents….it’s all in a day’s work as “leader’s of the free world”. And sadly, for Americans, it’s not given a second thought.
$1000 Billion authorized for the military industrial complex to do the satanic shit they do, while your fellow human traveler, in the country you are president of, is an open wound of suffering – abused and forgotten. The end has to be near.
It’s Friday night here at the Asylum. Tired of the lies, the horseshit, the lunacy, the insanity and hate-filled beating of the war drums from Washington, one has to expand their search for a sliver of truth…and hope.
The truth might hit you upside the head from casual encounters. The drunk on the street corner, the suffering in a hospital room, the downtrodden, the oppressed, the forgotten – it often comes from the most unexpected of sources.
But when you hear the truth…in your gut, you know it…if but only, you’ll listen.
Maria Zakharova, the official representative to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, tells the way it is.
What most of us seek is the truth. We’ve been lied to for so long, about so much, that we’ve almost become immune to acknowledging the truth when we hear it. But it’s there…it’s always there before us, for those who care to find it…and listen.
