It’s the New Year…Time for the U.S. to Start a Few New Wars

With the New Year right around the corner, jet-setting generals and neocon war hawks are licking their lips in anticipation of a new year filled with bombs, blasts, death, destruction and misery for hundreds of thousands, excluding themselves, of course.

(ANTIWAR.COM— Talking to US troops in Europe related to ongoing tensions with Russia, Marine Commandant Gen. Robert Neller warned that he sees “a war coming,” and that troops deployed there are in for “a big ass fight.”

The commandant’s speech was meant to focus on the importance of readiness for troops in Europe, and particularly for a new rotational force in Norway, but suggested that their very presence could trigger a war with Russia.

“We’ve got 300 Marines up here, we could go from 300 to 3,000 overnight,” Neller added. Officially, the deployment isn’t even supposed to mention Russia as part of their goals, citing regional sensitivities.

Oh, come on, General!  A big ass fight?  Can’t you do better than that?  How about detailing the frickin’ nightmare for fellow humans you’re salivating over? Come on, we know you’re just dying to get into the shyte of it all.  Start giving us numbers of the “enemy” you anticipate “offing”.  How about the number of families you’ll tear to shreds or even better, in your convoluted mess of a brain, heart and non-existent soul, simply eliminate? USA! USA! USA!

And speaking of the good ole US of A, we don’t even take Christmas off from our elimination of innocent human life:

Christmas in Yemen:  US-Backed Saudi Bombing Kills at Least 71 Civilians:

(ANTIMEDIA) At least 71 civilians are believed to have been killed by the U.S.-backed Saudi-led coalition in Yemen after 48 hours’ worth of bombing over Christmas, Al-Jazeera reports.

Residents told Al-Jazeera that a number of air strikes “rained down” on Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, early on Christmas day, killing at least 11 people, including three women and two children.

Unfortunately, the people who will feel the effects of this brutality the most are innocent civilians, not militants. A little over a week ago, a Saudi raid killed at least 10 women after it bombed a wedding procession east of Yemen’s capital.

The coalition has proven to be completely incompetent with regard to protecting civilian life, a gross violation of the rules of war that the United States and the United Kingdom continue to reward rather than punish. As the New York Times previously reported:

“The first problem was the ability of Saudi pilots, who were inexperienced in flying missions over Yemen and fearful of enemy ground fire. As a result, they flew at high altitudes to avoid the threat below. But flying high also reduced the accuracy of their bombing and increased civilian casualties, American officials said.

“American advisers suggested how the pilots could safely fly lower, among other tactics. But the airstrikes still landed on markets, homes, hospitals, factories and ports, and are responsible for the majority of the 3,000 civilian deaths during the yearlong war, according to the United Nations.”

clem-onojeghuo-136847But hey…are there really any significant numbers of Americans paying attention to our governments plans for death, destruction, horrors and untold suffering of brown people in far away lands? Naw! Americans just celebrated the birthday of Jesus by gifting each other items of toxic plastic. They’re still in a “state of shock”, typically reserved to describe folks learning of the death of a loved one, but when applied to the US consumer post-Christmas, equates to at least a few days of mouths open, with the occasional drool of spit escaping from gaping pie-holes as they continue their journey into the loss that is life among the lizards.

And it’s a trifecta of good news tonight:

The US is Reportedly Preparing a Military Strike Against North Korea

(ANTIMEDIA) According to the U.K.-based Telegraph, Donald Trump’s war of words with North Korean president Kim Jong-un has the potential to spiral into a confrontation. The U.S. is reportedly drawing up plans for a “bloody nose” military attack on North Korea.

According to the Telegraph, the aim of the strike would be to contain the North’s nuclear weapons. This is in light of the fact that the U.S. has had multiple opportunities to contain North Korea’s nuclear weapons programs diplomatically but has opted for hostile aggression, instead.

The Telegraph reports that the White House has “dramatically” stepped up its preparation for a military solution to the North Korean standoff, receiving inside information from three “well-placed sources” two former U.S. officials and a third figure from within the Trump administration.

Typical US administration shenanigans, both past and present, of announcing their plans of annihilation when so few are paying a lick of attention.

Meanwhile, the effort to keep Americans and Europeans totally ignorant of everything that is really happening, substituting Washington’s controlled explanations for actual reality, continues. For telling the truth, the news service RT has been forced to register as a “foreign agent” under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

In other words, the First Amendment, along with the rest of the US Constitution, has been repealed by Washington’s assertion of raw power, not limited by law or even morality.

According to the report (above) on Global Research, “This month, an organization calling itself the European Values Think-Tank, based in the Czech Republic and funded by the US embassy and foundations associated with billionaire George Soros, published just such a list, including the names of 2,300 RT guests, grouped into US and UK politicians, journalists, academics and celebrities. These individuals are, according to the think tank, ‘useful idiots’ for a ‘hostile foreign power.’”

I am not being facetious when I tell you “don’t expect to live much longer.” We are ruled by mindless, insane, psychopaths who believe that the US is invulnerable. These dumbshits are likely to get us all blown off the face of the earth. If you are not concerned that the US government is picking a fight with Russia (and China, North Korea, and Iran as well), something is wrong with you. ~ Dr. Paul Craig Roberts – via
