Dudamel, Frost and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra putting down a little Mozart and Tchaikovsky

Gothenburg Symphony and Music Director Gustavo Dudamel went on tour with soloist Martin Fröst to Oslo in Norway and Reykjavik in Iceland and their brand new hall, Harpa.

Watch and hear the finale from Mozart’s clarinet concerto and the 3rd movement from Tchaikovsky’s 6th symphony “Pathetique”. Filmed in Gothenburg, Oslo and Reykjavik in September 2011.  Concert Master: Sara Trobäck Hesselink

The Mozart is brief but beautiful (of course).  And even though it’s only the 3rd movement from Tchaikovsky’s Pathetique symphony, it is the grand movement from this symphony and is magnificent!

(Headphones on, with full screen and maximum volume, provides upmost in sensory enjoyment!)
