“Getz” it?

It appears Germany has gone completely bat-shit crazy.

From HeatSt.com, comes the following:

Germany Considers Fining Facebook $522,000 Per Fake News Item

The government of Germany is considering imposing a legal regime that would allow fining social networks such as Facebook up to 500,000 euros ($522,000) for each day the platform leaves a “fake news” story up without deleting it.

Good work, guys!  Once again, left to its own devices and an impervious ability to think through things, a government decides it, and only it, (run by lunatics, basically) is the arbiter of truth.

So, you fine Facebook $522K if they leave a “fake news” story up without deleting it.  And Facebook has already advised that they will be using Snopes.com (revealed to be of questionable character, at best) to do the fact-checking of what is a “real” news story as opposed to a “fake” news story. Good show!

Stan Getz

How about you flipped out control freaks do this… Ever heard of Stan Getz?   If not, take 5 minutes out of your maniacal “every days” and listen to a little Samba de uma Nota Só.  It might help calm those “dictatorial” tendencies you have.  It might also help you develop a little humanity

We also suggest a little vodka over blueberry kombucha – on the rocks, of course.
