Aye, Matey!

Dumpy can’t seem to find the brakes and is heading off the cliff.  Couldn’t be happening to a better clown.

US forces on Wednesday boarded and took by force a Russian-flagged oil tanker in the North Atlantic Ocean that it initially tried to seize off the coast of Venezuela weeks ago, an action that drew condemnation from Moscow.

The tanker was named the Bella 1 when the US first tried to capture it, but it changed its name to the Marinera and began flying a Russian flag as it was being chased by the US Coast Guard across the Atlantic. Russia had reportedly asked the US to stop pursuing the ship.antiwar.com

Ah!  Isn’t that nice that the Russians asked the US to stop pursing the ship?  Why not just ‘capture’ Dumpy and Melania and worry about the spoils later?  It’s how Dumpy deals with things.  And EVERYONE loves Dumpy.

“On December 24, 2025, the Marinera received a temporary permit to fly the Russian flag, issued in accordance with Russian and international law,” the Russian Transportation Ministry said in a statement on the seizure.

The Transportation Ministry said that the seizure violated international law. “In accordance with the 1982 UN Convention ‍on the Law of the Sea, freedom of navigation applies in the high seas, and no state has the right ‌to use force against vessels duly registered in the jurisdictions of ‌other states,” the ministry said.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry also issued a statement, calling for the US to treat any Russian nationals on the crew “humanely” and for them to be allowed to return home as quickly as possible. A Russian warship and submarine were reportedly in the vicinity of the Marinera during the seizure, but there was no confrontation between US and Russian forces.

US European Command announced the seizure and said the ship was taken for “violating US sanctions,” though US economic sanctions don’t give the US government the legal right to capture a ship in international waters. US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said the “blockade of sanctioned and illicit Venezuelan oil remains in FULL EFFECT – anywhere in the world.”

U.S. might is right, no matter what atrocities it commits….and that’s all there is to it anymore.  Once you comrades around the world understand this, everything will be jake!

Get on the new peace train, Maga style, all you non-Maga loser types.  We’re WINNING and now it’s off to the great white north.

Even the White House press secretary can’t seem to defend Donald Trump’s incessant warmongering.

Karoline Leavitt couldn’t muster a logical explanation for the president’s escalating fixation on Greenland during a press conference Wednesday, vaguely suggesting that acquiring the Danish-controlled territory would be beneficial for national security purposes.

“I’m curious if you could just spell out for the American public what specifically would the U.S. gain by taking control of Greenland that the U.S. doesn’t already have access to right now?” asked a reporter, highlighting myriad existing treaties that effectively give the United States unfettered access to Greenland as a military base.

“Um—more control over the Arctic region,” Leavitt stuttered. “And ensuring that China and Russia and our adversaries cannot continue their aggression in this very important and strategic region. And there would be many other benefits as well that, again, the president and his national security team are currently talking about.”

In the immediate aftermath of Trump’s bombardment of Venezuela for oil, America’s European allies have weighed whether the U.S. president’s jabs at annexing Greenland—another major international oil resource—actually carried weight. Of particular concern were repeat comments made by the president in which Trump declared he would use “military force” to secure the Arctic island for U.S. interests.

Fears about Trump’s militaristic dreams for Greenland were, in part, rejuvenated by Leavitt herself during the same press briefing, when she refused to rule out the possibility of using U.S. troops to seize the island.

“Past presidents and past leaders have often ruled things out, they’ve often been very open about ruling things in and basically broadcasting their foreign policy strategy to the rest of the world. Not just to our allies but, most egregiously, to our adversaries,” Leavitt said. “That’s not something our president does.

“But I will just say that the president’s first option, always, has been diplomacy,” Leavitt continued, before pointing her finger to the situation in Venezuela. “And look at what happened.” – newrepublic.com

At least Columbia of off Dumpy’s hit list….for now, even though he threatened intervention just a couple of days ago.  Madmen can always change their minds, from minute-to-minute if necessary.
