Demolition Donald, the orange agent of chaos, never rests.
I’m sure you’ll agree that he who thinks he has extraordinary powers to throw some hate Taylor Swift’s way that demolishes her ‘hotness’, certainly can decide how much iPhones should cost.
Wisdom from a 78 year-old adolescent!
President Donald Trump threatened on Friday morning to raise prices on iPhones sold in the United States, as he threatened to slap a 25 percent tariff on Apple smartphones that aren’t built in the United States.
“I have long ago informed Tim Cook of Apple that I expect their iPhone’s (sic) that will be sold in the United States of America will be manufactured and built in the United States, not India, or anyplace else,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “If that is not the case, a Tariff of at least 25% must be paid by Apple to the U.S.”
Makes perfect sense! I mean – a crappy iPhone? He should be able conjure up what the price should be between his takes on Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and any new and shiny tariffs he wants to impose…for today, in his sleep.
In either outcome, consumers will have to pay more. A 25 percent tariff on iPhones built in other countries would, of course, artificially inflate prices. On the other hand, an American-made iPhone would likely be even more expensive: one estimate pegs the cost of an American-made iPhone at around $3,500.
Other experts doubt that such a product would ever exist—in all likelihood, Apple would rather pay the tariff rather than shift its manufacturing supply chains. “It’s just not a reality that on the time frame of imposing tariffs that this is going to shift manufacturing here. It’s pie in the sky,” Jeff Fieldhack, research director at Counterpoint Research, told CNBC in April when the White House was making noises about the desire for an American-made iPhone.
“It’s easier to teach a bald eagle to use a screwdriver,” concludes the Journal‘s Joanna Stern after surveying several tech manufacturing experts.
Since it would cost way more to build new factories, comply with American regulations, and pay American workers to build iPhones, the most likely outcome of this policy is that Apple would simply pay the high import taxes and pass those costs along to consumers. In other words, Americans will end up with more expensive phones and no new factory jobs. (full article – reason.com

Rep. Randy Fine Implies Gaza Should Be ‘Nuked’ Like Japan After DC Shooting – via antiwarnews.com
On Thursday, Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) appeared to suggest that Gaza should be “nuked” like Japan was during World War II in response to the shooting in Washington DC that killed two Israeli embassy staffers.
The congressman was asked in an interview on Fox News if the shooting should change the course of Israel’s onslaught on Gaza. “Well, I think it speaks to the importance of the only end of the conflict is the complete and total surrender by those who support Muslim terror,” Fine replied.
“In World War II, we did not negotiate a surrender with the Nazis, we did not negotiate a surrender with the Japanese. We nuked the Japanese twice in order to get unconditional surrender, that needs to be the same here,” Fine added.
Fine, who recently won a special election for Mike Waltz’s seat in the House, is staunchly pro-Israel and has a history of calling for mass violence against Palestinians on X. He celebrated the Israeli military killing of Aysenur Eyzi Eygi, a 26-year-old Turkish-American citizen, who was gunned down in the West Bank, calling her a “Muslim terrorist” even though she was unarmed.
Fine also said in the interview on Thursday that “Palestinianism is violence” and that “Palestinianism” is evil.
Yes…annihilating over 200,000 civilians when the U.S. nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki isn’t evil at all. So, let’s nuke some more!
The sick society continues with the sickest of all running it.
