LI’L DARLIN’ – The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson – End Theme – Count Basie Version
Most people are familiar with the “HERE’S JOHNNY” theme that opened the TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JOHNNY CARSON for over 3 decades. This was the end title theme song called LI’L DARLIN’ that was played by Doc Severinson and the NBC Orchestra as the show ended with credits, with the longest versions usually on Friday night when the week wrapped up. The version heard here that Doc played in the show was the Count Basie version. – elkadumpo
