Whistling Past the Graveyard

You know how it is.  Friends, family and internet sex pals on the world wide waste are NOT tugging at your ear, telling you that WWIII is on the horizon, if not already here.  They’re NOT sending you articles, podcasts, videos of the world going mad while all you want to do is pull out the Halloween decorations, sit back, have several cocktails and imagine how better the world would be if there were more people like you, you know…deep into their self-admiration coma.

So that you might stay ahead of those ‘friends’ of yours and what they’re NOT doing, with their very misplaced priorities I might add, here’s a few of the latest articles of what the blood lust leaders are pursuing right now.

Don’t worry, WWIII ain’t happening.  It’s just the usual talk and missiles exploding and killing innocents…over there and not here…you know what I mean.

Biden, Netanyahu Closer to Consensus on Attacking Iran – via antiwar.com

Netanyahu convened his war cabinet on Thursday to approve plans

President Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu moved closer to an understanding on Israel’s plans to attack Iran during their phone call on Wednesday, Axios reported on Thursday.

The report, which cited US and Israeli officials, said that the US had accepted Israel is going to launch a major attack on Iran soon and is only concerned that striking certain types of targets could dramatically escalate things. However, Iran has vowed it will respond to any type of Israeli attack, and the situation could easily turn into a full-blown war that would involve the US.

Look, if you’re going to keep up the killing of innocents, you’ve got to allow two of the dumbest and most vile leaders that have enabled all the killings to continue to speak with each other about future killings.  A consensus of murder and annihilation is most important at the present time and the only way to arrive at a consensus is to speak to each other.  Having talks about peace is verboten.  Speaking of continued war…that’s a go!

New NATO Chief Mark Rutte Pledges More War In Ukraine – via winepressnews.com

Once again, over there and not here.  Nothing to be concerned about. What’s important, of course, is that more war continues in order to keep military industrial complex corporations neck-deep in profits.  If bad things happen over there…well, life is tough.  Nothing will happen here, right?

Mark Rutte, the new head of NATO, told reporters last week that his top priority as the alliance’s new leader is to support Ukraine’s war effort against Russia.

The following report is by The Trends Journal (excerpts):

Just two days after taking office, Rutte visited Ukraine and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky. The two discussed Kyiv’s so-called “victory plan,” and the U.S. presidential elections in November.

Rutte told the Ukrainian leader that no matter who’s elected in Washington, he believes he’ll be able to work with the individual. Vice President Kamala Harris promised to continue weapon support for Ukraine, while Donald Trump indicated that he would bring the war to an end—without going into detail.

Rutte said on Tuesday that he is “absolutely convinced that on this issue, they both see what is necessary,” he said, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Rutte served as the Dutch prime minister for 14 years and has been a vocal supporter for Ukraine before getting the alliance’s top job. In January, he addressed the Atlantic Council and said a Russian victory in Ukraine would be disastrous for the world.

“If we accept for one moment that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin could be successful in Ukraine, it won’t end there,” he said.

Zelensky repeated his appeal for Western countries to approve Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles to strike targets deep inside Russia, which drew a sharp response from the Kremlin and would start a direct conflict between NATO and Moscow.

Rutte said Kyiv has the “right to defend itself” and that right “does not end at the border.”

“Russia is pursuing this illegal war … targeting Russian fighter jets and missiles before they can be used against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure can help save lives,” he said.

He stopped short of making the comment on behalf of the entire bloc, and said it is up to “individual allies,” according to RT.

Now this IS proper think, something you can use with your pals if they start in with WWIII chatter about something that just ain’t happening.  I mean, who the hell are they to bring a dark cloud over your enjoyment of marveling at the silliest shit a person can dream up?

And if that doesn’t work…well, there’s some honest meditation you could try…
